 Attention golfers: Would you like to spend a day mastering one of the region's finest courses while supporting a great cause? If so, you won't want to miss the third annual South Carolina Strawberry Festival Golf Tournament, presented by Piedmont Medical Center. This year's tournament will be held on Wednesday, May 1st, at Springfield Golf Club in Fort Mill, one of the Charlotte area's most challenging and picturesque courses.The tournament will be a four person captain's choice event, open to both men and women. The event will begin with a shotgun start at 9:30 am. Registration will begin at 8:00 am, with practice tees and greens available.
The field will be capped at 32 teams (128 golfers). Golfers registering individually or in groups of three or less will be paired with other golfers to complete a foursome. Pre-registration is required; however, full payment will not be required until day of the event. Be sure to register early to secure your spot. The deadline for pre-registration is April 17, 2013.
Local businesses and organizations are invited to support the South Carolina Strawberry Festival Golf Tournament by participating as a hole sponsor. Hole sponsorship packages may be purchased for $150.00 per hole. Please click the link above to download a sponsorship application form.
Proceeds from this year's tournament will support the Fort Mill Care Center. The Fort Mill Care center is a volunteer-supported organization whose primary mission is to assist local families who find themselves in need of basic necessities, such as food, fuel, rental assistance, power, heat, medicine and counseling. The Care Center provides assistance to over 3,000 families in the Fort Mill area on an annual basis.
