Strawberry Festival Delegation Visits with SC Governor Nikki Haley

On Wednesday, June 1, 2011, representatives from the South Carolina Strawberry Festival traveled to the Statehouse in Columbia, SC to present Governor Nikki Haley with a basket of fresh, locally grown strawberries from Fort Mill. The delegation was led by Fort Mill Mayor Danny Funderburk, Festival Chairman David Ward, Ron Edwards of Springs Farm, and Strawberry Queens Nikita Maigur and Morgan Jasper.
